Turkish Guerrilla movement

I have become very interested in Turkey, and the TKP/ML or the Turkish Communist Party it can be called.

How did their Guerrilla movement start? How effective was it? How about nowadays?

Are they active as guerrillas currently?

The only active guerrillas I am aware of in Turkey at present are the P.K.K. (Kurdistan Worker's Party).
