Many on here do not like Sweezy because they think his journal Monthly Review is third worldist and peddles underconsumptionalist theory. We have more fans of Kliman in here than Sweezy.

I personally think Sweezy and the MR school are great especially John Bellamy Foster and Robert McChesney.

It can be said though that most of the progressives we know from Zinn to Parenti take most of their analysis from MR. I mean I read MR and I think of Chomsky, Parenti, Sut Jhally, etc.

RadioRaheem gives a good superficial analysis. Ultimately I think they are the worldview of the class-collaborationist left (the left of capital, if you were) always looking to worldwide bind workers to the progressive nationalist interest, which is to say the national bourgeoisie. I prefer Kliman to Sweezy, without any doubt.

Paul Marlor Sweezy is venerable and faithful comrade for us, revolutionary fighters that live in "new-colonial" countrys in third world.
