It's the former flag of Libya, when it was a monarchy before Gaddafi (although there was only ever one monarch). They aren't planning on bringing the monarchy back with it.

There is nothing more beautiful than the black or red flag.

Firstly, note I'm not Anarchist or even a Libertarian of that sorts.

The black flag possesses the most glorious of intimidation toward the enemy. Nothing symbolizes a force of pure unstoppable hell than the black flag. It is beautiful. Even Stalinists should consider using it (at least in combat).

The Red Flag is second best, in my opinion, for the reason that it is a pure strike in the heart of the bourgeoisie when looked upon, only due to it's communist history.

Nothing fucks up the mind of a reactionary (Right Libertarian) than a giant glorious red flag shining, streaming viciously across the glazing sun, none the less a horde of armed proletarians behind it.

One of the signs of a well-designed flag is that it should be simple enough for a child to be able to draw from memory, at least from a vexillological point of view (obviously not every flag is that simple in it's design).
