View Full Version : Definition of a Marxist

A person who envies and wants the good life of Western Society and wants to obtaine it, not thru work, but thru insurrection and violence.
Yes, violence; Marxists are violent people----just read that idiot Marx. Marxists only advocate "Peace" when it's convenient to them, but on the quest for their failed, illusive ideology, violence is ok.
There's definetely not much intelligence at this site. No wonder Marxist states are always starving and lacking in just about all necessities.

please use quotes by ACTUAL Marxists to back up your claims.

marxism- theories of philosofer Karl Marx
Comunism- Form of goverment born from several currents of thought, among them Marx but not only Marx. Most people comonly and wrongly indentify a single party system and a repressive undemocratic police state as the only form of comunism. When in fact the above is but an preverted atempt to implement but one interpretation of marxism in conjunction with other theories like leninism

fant you are a real idiot man, malte i just suggest you ban this guy hes worse than myrmidion of che. Marxists state starve cus idiots like yourself take it upon themselves to interfere in other peoples business. They starve cus sanctions are put against them. If the usa didnt intervene in all latin american countries I think we could all say that they would be funtioning properly. But the states cant allow that cus then it takes away foreign investment and sets a "bad" example. And yes some do use violence because its the only way to achieve certain things. When politicians wont listen what else is there to do? I dont know about you, but I'll grab a gun and die for justice then live in injustice.

I don't know about banning someone for being an Idiot... a homophobic sexist maybe... but we went through all that already...
I like Chief Rebel's sugestion (on Nickadermus thread) the best putting 'clown' as a title was a briliant idea... lol... oh I'm just joking ya know... we all know a clown when we see one.. ;)
And if communism is such a falure, and capitalism is so great why are former communist nations like Russia having so many problems?
I'm currently doing research on Tuberculosis which is currently on the rise in the world... once the number one cause of death in Europe and America. (that includes Canada btw)...
It seems that poor public heath care has given rise to the AIDES epedemic, which in turn has helped TB to rise to staggering proportions. Antibiotics are expensive, and if people don't take them... TB spreads... and... if they take them and stop after it subsides... TB comes back with an amunity to the antibiotics. And... people with AIDES... catch it easily... and are contributing to the new upsurgance of TB. Here are the stats on the rise of AIDES alone after the fall of the USSR...
1993.........108 infections
1994..........158
1995...........196
1996...........1,546
1997............4,399
1998.............3,947
1999.............15,462
My point? Russia finds it'self poorly armed without efective heath care systems, disease is widespread in Russia, and people are getting sicker faster.
I got this info from the New York times Tuesday December 5, 2000.
Also strangely... my professor mentioned that he's been a communist since 1968. Unrelated to the subject he's teaching... but still... worth mentioning.

well considering all the anit-america protests going on and the way americans are treated in europe i can say that easily. . .. . . in other parts of the world canadians are welcomed with open arms while americans are given the cold shoulder. .. . and thanx i am very enlightened. i've seen the 'light' and have come to the left. :) :) :)

Its rather sad that due to what can only be perceived as a cultural inferiority complex Europeans would turn up their noses at americans and forget that if it wasn't for us (and by the way PCE I've probably been here less than you and am proud to be an american...were at leas I know I am free...and find it hypocritical that you would disassociated yourself from the nation whose system provides your father with a 90,000 dollar a year income) they'd all be speaking German, and only German.
Furthermore I don't think Fantomas has ever come off as a homophobe, redcelt read carefully, he said commies didnt like "maricones", an obvious allusion to the way the cuban government treats, or rather mistreats, homosexuals.

I said he was said he was homophobic for assuming someone who advocates gay rights is gay. Why don't YOU read carefuly!

whoah agusto, i never said i don't like america, i just ment to say that i wasn't american by birth because......i'm not. in fact i appreciate and love the great things of america more than many natural americans i know. don't think just because i say i'm not american i mean i want to "disassociate" myself. i was merely pointing out a fact. if i called you french (or any nationality that you are not), wouldn't you tell me "i'm not french?" this does not mean you are "disassociating" yourself, it just means you are not french.
i'll say it again, i am not american.
by the way, just because america has given me an easy life, it doesn't mean i can't be mad at how others are treated.

As someone who spent his summer in Egypt, (or Aigiptos if you prefer that I use the actual Greek bastardization, or if you really want to be difficult, as seems apparent "Misr al Fustat") I would like to note that there is an inherent bias in the thread of this discussion to look upon the western psychology as a contaminant, or a monster.
Western civilization is no contaminant...it is a progress oriented tradition. It has borrowed from every culture it can and forged new, powerful ideas and quality lives for those who take up its cause. It has encompassed the ideas of the East and has evolved to a point where it thrives on debate and even dissent.
What makes the United States so successful of an ongoing experiment is not necessarily what it has done to improve the lives of its citizens, but what it hasn't done in attempting to impose some ideology on an entire society. We have our flaws, as any institution of man will. However, it seems that people here really believe in a grand scheme....a panacea. This is a powerful concept, but easily misleading and easily abused. How are we to guard against ourselves?
The truth as I see it is far different. Most of the 6 billion or so people on this planet don't give a shit about obscure political thoughts. They want to eat, they want to work, they want to live. In Egypt, governments have come and gone over thousands of years....Pharoahs, Greeks, Hyksos, French, British, Socialists, Monarchs, Tyrants...and very few have even touched the lives of the populace.
If you want people to find happiness and prosperity, set them free to seek it. L 'etat c'est moi, verily.

And... maybe the only thing he's gulty of in that comment is making assumtions... here's the comment I'm talking about...
"Jurhael, Commies don't like "maricones" (fags) like you."---Fantomas
Now, calling Jurhael a fag simply because she supports GLBT rights seems homophobic to me... he's jumping to conclusions... however you could say I'm jumping to conclusions in calling him a 'homophobic'... maybe his only fault there is making asumptions.

that's his largest problem as i've seen it so far. he makes broad assumptions and generalizations.

LMFAO!!!!!
europians have a cultural inferiority complex vs yankees??? lol ever bin to europe augostos? i dont think so... I live here i can tell you that there is no comparison between cultures or medium level of education among the populaces. You must be crazy friend if you think hamburger land is any cultural match for the cribe of civilization. Your culture is consumism and mass production, and as for erudction, yes you have some... in restricted cricles that is among small elites in univerties and so fourth and most of them are only there because of the money you have and the investigavite capabilities you offer. Dont confuse money with culture, or power with culture. You should pay switerzland or denmark a visit sometime lol...

El_Che-
Europeans have a complex with pretty much every other culture because their success is the result of the capacity to borrow ideas and synthesize them. EUROPE IS BY NO MEANS THE "CRIB" OF CULTURE. When Paris and London were still hamlets of a few thousands, cities like Cairo or Babylon had existed for thousands of years, perfecting arts and technologies you dirty little serfs couldnt pull off until well after 1000 AD.
Now you've got it even worse, simply because you all lost out on a continent of vast resources and space because you were too busy *****ing among yourselves. If you would like to talk about cultural development, consider the simple fact that the U.S. has existed for little more than two centuries, and in that time has created more culturally than any similar span in the history of all European cultures collectively. Which reminds me...dont dare talk about Europe as if it is or always was a single entity...its not. What nation will you choose to champion?

Cairo is amazing. It's a shame that on photos of the skyline you can see a layer of smog.
The Invisible Hand
28th October 2001, 17:04
Yes it is a shame...but the smog and the dust have been there for a long time....there are mentions of it dating back to the 8th century, when fires and animal traffic were the perpetrators. Some think it has gotten better.
