I read today an article about a situation in Argentina were 4 members of a leftist group named Corriente Clasista Combativa were mudered by the State and that there is a wave of housing and workplaces takeover in the area. It also mentions the traitor role of Tupak Amaru Revolutionary Movement.

Can anyone give some info about it? Can we find an article in English?

I haven't been on in a while. Have you guys heard about the Chilean occupations and what not? Like over a hundred schools are being occupied and striking miners are costing BHP Billiton like $30 million a day.

If I remember correctly, Corriente Clasista Combativa (Combative Class Current) is led by the Revolutionary Communist Party of Argentina, which declared itself "Marxist-Leninist-Maoist" sometime in the 70's.

The last I heard about them in English was:

"Members of the Corriente Clasista y Combativa, a picket organization, lifted a road block they had set in Nueve de Julio Avenue after seven hours, in demand of social programme. They had threatened to set camp if they weren't aren’t able to meet with Government officials." - http://www.buenosairesherald.com/tags/Corriente%20Clasista%20y%20Combativa (July 18, 2011)

Here's something (http://atejunin.com.ar/2011/08/01/permiso-para-matar/) from August 1:

Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina (CTA) participó activamente de la multitudinaria marcha a Plaza de Mayo en repudio a la represión desatada en el día de ayer en Jujuy y que costará la vida de tres militantes de la Corriente Clasista y Combativa. Similares movilizaciones y actos de repudio se sucedieron a lo largo y ancho del país para decir una vez más que “El límite es la muerte”.

My rough translation:

The Argentine Workers' Central Union (CTA) actively participated in a massive march to the Plaza de Mayo to protest yesterday's crackdown in Jujuy that cost the lives of three militants of the Combative Class Current. Similar demonstrations and acts of repudiation occurred throughout the country, again raising the cry that "Death is the limit." [not 100% accurate]

There have been a few posts on the outbreaks in Chile:

Of course they haven't gotten a lot of attention, because around here it's much more popular to discuss the subtleties of putting together an effective secret police in the "proletarian state."
