Sure. Overwhelmingly by white people, though.

Anyway, yeah the last bit I thought was interesting because I can think of a couple incidents that were pretty similar to what was in the video, with a white victim and black attackers, but that wasn't huge news either.

A lot of people kind of say "well if he was white/black/anything, attacked by white/black/anything, it'd be a big deal", when it's kinda not. The media doesn't touch race at all because talking about overt racial violence like this kind of flies in the fact of the whole "post-racial society" narrative we got going on.

That's something that just sort of clicked in my mind as I was watching the video, so whatever.

They glanced over this one too, and they murdered a guy. Meanwhile the Jena 6 beat up a kid who's been harassing them in an extremely hostile school environment and people want to try them for attempted murder.

This was disturbing and beyond fucked up. I wish I could say I am surprised unfortunately such behavior is often the norm in parts of the Deep South where people still teach their children such backwards beliefs.
