What are some historical examples of decentralized socialist economic planning? When was decentralized planning tried?

Paris Commune, Anarchist Catalonia are the two that I can think of at the top of my head. They were both very interesting events.

Zapatista Communes in Chiapas offer an example of extremely decentralized planning, although I don't know if the EZLN is exactly what you're talking about. Communities govern and plan themselves via direct democracy although they work together to attain shared objectives and goals.
