This could be my favorite performance by Matt Damon ever. The look on the libertarian reproter's face is priceless like she just realized she stepped in a hornet's nest. And the part about the cameraman - pure fucking gold.

Actually the article from Entertainment Weekly is better because you can read all the comments from readers which are overwhelmingly pro-teacher and take-on some of the propaganda that's been put out there in order to sell the bi-partisan attack on education and public sector unions.

I think it's telling that in our society when political issues come up in an entertainment magazine people always seem to be more progressive than commentators on political blogs or news sites. If you get your information from the Ruling Class via the Republican/Democrats via news-publishers you're probably more to the right of people who consider themselves "apolitical" and develop their views from the people they know and their experiences.

Here's my favorite right-wing comment though:

Matt Damon is just another clueless Hollywood socialist. If he doesn’t want the tax cut, why doesn’t he use it to hire someone? That’ll do more good than getting on a soap box and being mean to a lady who’s just trying to do her job.Yeah let the lady do her job of spreading malicious misinformation about the tens of thousands of teachers who are just trying to do their jobs.

Most of the other comments though are like: "My sister/uncle/parent is a teacher and they make shit wages and work harder and longer than they are required to"
