They're a split from the NOI. I once met a 5%er, they have a weird way of looking at things...he said white people are "like skunks". They've influenced hip hop culture quite a bit..."word is bond" and "cypher" both come from the 5%ers IIRC.

And yeah they might have something to do with aliens but I'm not sure what exactly. :lol:

Yeah, a favourite among weird-and-wonderful rap musicians, if i remember correctly.

I doubt they'd be welcome here. If I recall correctly, their thesis is that every black man is Allah, which makes every black woman a Muslim. (Think about that for a minute.) There was a somewhat controversial Ghostface interview in which he made this claim; of course, I could be completely wrong about this as well.

No no aliens but its pretty esoteric stuff. I've had alot of deep conversations w/ 5%ers in prison. Very interesting convos. I ask cause I know some of them to hold revolutionary views. A popular revolutionary rapper, immortal technique, spits alot of 5%er lyrics. They do say that every black man is god or rather has the potential to be god but its not "god"as we normally think in eurocentric terms. They do hold some views that would be unappreciated here. I was just curious

Yes the noi has a very big presence in pennsylvania prison. In california the foi is real popular.
