Do you personally wield a Hammer or Sickle on a regular basis?
Either as part of your profession or recreation, do you:
Strike a meaningful blow with a tool of substantial mass or
Mow down various vegetations with sharp implements?
In this mechanized 21st century I include any tool designed to perform the same task as the original Hammer and Sickle including:
Manual, pneumatic or any other sort of powered hammers such as air hammers, jackhammers, nail guns, punch presses... in short any tool that causes a moving mass to strike a target and thus move, split, shatter, forge or deform it.
Scythes, harvesting equipment, lawnmowers, grass shears, weed eaters... in short, any tool that mows down vegetation with a blade of any sort.
Or are you a worker who through no fault of your own are deprived of the chance to operate the glorious symbols of Communism?
Or maybe you're a non-worker, either well-disposed to workers or not?

Both Hammers and Sickles here.
I get to operate various hammering devices at work and as hobbies.
Everything from a teenie-tiny watchmaker hammer to a 5-pound slide hammer that hurts my wrists.
On the weekends, I get to (have to?) mow both my lawn and my mother's lawn.
I use mechanized Sickles nowadays like gas lawnmowers and weed eaters though I started out with a manual push mower and grass shears long ago.

My father was a carpenter, so I've been instructed in the ways of the hammer.

I get to rip out every bit of unwanted vegetation in my 'nam-like jungle of a backyard on occasion by hand. No tools. >_>

I have wielded both many times although most were for recreational use. Does any type of welder count?
¿Que?

When I was a child, I dressed up as death for halloween, and I had a scythe made out of a branch, some cardboard and aluminum foil, but I wanted so bad to call it a sickle mostly because I thought it sounded cooler. To answer you question, though, the tool I use most for work is the computer mouse :/

So much win
I've used Hammers, and "sickles" before but I don't use them regularly. Well I do usually mow the lawn at least once a month or something so I guess that counts.

I think the old soviet design needs to be thrown away, it's image was tarnished by the soviets, and it's just gotten outdated. I've been working on a new design based on more modern machinery and robotics.

Why yes, I'm a blacksmith in an Amish community. It's my job to forge sickles and occasionally maintain them.
