Okay, as everyone knows the US is one of the only, or now the only "industrialized nation" not to have any national healthcare system. Obama's plan is very obviously a giveaway to the insurance industry.
About 50 million Americans (including myself) have no healthcare insurance at all. Prescription drugs can be very expensive, essential unaffordable for to people who need them. As I understand efforts to form buyer co-ops to buy cheaper generics in bulk have been thwarted. Big pharma is politically very powerful.
Okay there is an online pharmacy where you can buy prescription drugs cheaply online. My self and a lot of people I know buy from this. Its vastly cheaper.

A US non0government "watchdog group" has been attempting to shut them down and close off sources of cheaper drugs. They ostensibly work to safeguard the public but in reality they protect big pharma and close off sources of affordable drugs.

Legitscripts doesn't just warn of shady offshore pharmacies (that could be important work) but actively works to shut them down.
Admittedly I have not had time to do a lot of research on this.There may be another side to this.
