Ummm. Sometimes just shaking a tin in the street will work. However, putting on "nights", music and food and charging people to come in is usually the best way. You could always rob a few banks like the Bolshies.

Rob, this doesnt apply to you, as your aims are neither revolutionary or socialist, however

what a socialist would do is to get the organisation, and sell their ideas. How you do this? get members to pay monthly subscriptions, and sell literature to gain more money.
Hitting banks is also an option, although more properly to be used in the thick of revolution
