Its a shame that the majority of protests don't get any news time, but the Clergy does, but hey, many view them as a moral authority (http://thinkprogress.org/special/2011/07/28/282453/clergey-members-arrested-debt-ceiling/).
This sort of action is absolutely positive and puts a spiritual moral aspect into this, which hopefully will put the so-called christian republicans in a tight spot, they should be called out from that angle more often.
