A BBC series has caught my interest, and I was wondering if any comrades have seen it to share their opinion. It is titled "Fall of Eagles" and it is about the fall of several European monarchies during the years of 1914-1918.
Some notable actors include Barry Foster as the Kaiser of Germany and Patrick Stewart as V.I. Lenin, as well as many other notable figures.

We watched the Russian Revolution bit in history class last year. It was alright - decent Lenin.
But I now remember it soley for one of the people in my class who kept going ''can we watch the eagles?'' throughout the year. *memories*

I have this series, and it's pretty good. It marries my love of Star Trek and communism very well with Patrick Stewart as Lenin :D
As history, particularly dealing with the history of what became the Bolsheviks, it's very "textbook style," ie, portraying Lenin has a thinker of a tight, vanguardist party, which nowadays is a much more doubted concept. But it's still a good production.
