Yes, absolutely Gnomes are Proletariat Comrades.

Just read Terry Pratchett's Nome Trilogy (Truckers, Diggers and Wings) and there is no question... our little brethren are hard at work around the clock and even get evicted/fired by a bad 'ol capitalist downsizing.

Of course the Travelocity gnome is relentlessly braving all manner of perils in the employ of that heartless travel company.

Even the more sedate garden gnomes are hard at work in the fields everyday brandishing their tiny, nearly invisible Scythes.

Absolutely each and every garden gnome is a proletarian. We can count on them when the revolution comes.
