Hell yeah it's very detailed! When I was going around the internet trying to suck up all the information I could get on mao and marx and stuff for the first time, this is where I went. I was overwhelmed with information it was so tight :D Very good site indeed!

He might mean that it should read 'first they came for the Communists' and then 'next they came for the Jews'. That's all I see wrong with it.

Quite ironic that they would be coming round for those same evil Commies who according to Trot were the sole reason Hitler came to power.

Anyway Marx to Mao a very good site. Ironically I think the best stuff on there is the material by Marxist-Leninists who didn't happen to be famous. Martin Nicholeus 'The Restoration of Capitalism in the USSR' is most brilliant reading.

They have that quote on a lot of monuments remembering the holocaust, the thing is though, that they remove the communist part.

Anyway good point Ian, it's amazing how the programme/film 'Hitler. The Rise of Evil' coped with it. Not one mention of the millions of Communists murdered, no mention of the genocide in the USSR commited by the Nazis, the only thing that came close was 'and politicical dissidents' in a long list of victims of Nazism.

Well, I got that quote from the back of a t-shirt I have, which is made by the ANL so I doubt they would alter it in anyway to remove the "communist" part.

Yes I suspect that Hitler programme has a strong Jewish and capitalist influence to keep out mention of communists.

To a large extent they did come for communists first because they were most dangerous. The Jews were not so dangerous.

Hey Cassius, just finished reading the book you mentioned on Marx to Mao, Martin Nicolaus's book. It was a good read, bit dry but there were a lot of interesting bits (the Second Serfdom bit in the conclusion was interesting, I'd never heard of that thing, but you can see the parallels with the 1990 crises and the Second Serdom phenomenon), anyone got anymore suggestions?

Maybe I'll read the book by Dominique Lecourt on Lysenko.
