- Where are you from, whats the leftist scene there like? I don't know much about the town I moved to since I just moved here to go to school here. It's fairly rural so I doubt there are that many leftists present.
- What branch of leftism do you subscribe to? At the moment I'm only here to learn. I haven't yet determined which makes the most sense to me.
- How did you become a leftist? I personally don't know whether or not I am actually a Leftist. I haven't yet subscribed to any dogma and I merely want to learn.

I am a Linguistics/Latin American History double major. At present I'm set up to take Spanish but I don't know much of the language aside from the basics. Aqui estas el gato picante. I've spent some time learning French and Icelandic but I wouldn't consider myself very proficient in either.

welcome! I was a latin american studies major, good times. Cool. At the moment I'm reading some works on Simón Bolívar just because that seems to be a fairly reasonable starting point. It's a shame I can't speak Spanish because to read these in the original would be simply amazing.

Oh well, give me a year or two and I should be proficient. (I was lucky to score a job at a Mexican restaurant).
