Chechnya is Eastern European in the Caucus. Used to be part of Russia, if I'm not mistaken.

I've actually asked what nationality I looked like on other forums, and I get described as anything from Spanish to Russian, Scandinavian to Ukrainian or Italian. I think people can look like almost any nationality regardless of where they are from within areas of close genetic similarity such as Europe.

I have no fucking idea either. My Grandma says she's Irish, Dutch, and French. But my Grandpa is adopted and he had no idea what he was and I get just about everything from my dad who looks just like his dad. Sometimes I get mistaken as being Latino or Native American when I get really tan during the summer. But I really don't care to be honest.

I'm half Italian, with at least 1/2 of that being Sicilian, possibly 3/4ths but we are unsure (not quite sure what part of Italy my great grandmother on my father's mother's side is from) and the other 1/4 of my Italian being Calabrian. I'm also an 1/8 German and 1/8 Scottish. We are unsure how much Irish there is in the Family, since we don't know whether my great grandmother on my father's father's side was Irish or English (Her last name was Thompson). So I'm either a quarter Irish or 1/8 Irish and 1/8 English.
That is of course only going back to he beginning of the 20th century, who knows what is mixed in before that.

Half Irish, my mother's family being from County Cork... My family was a bunch of ne'er-do-wells who were involved in the IRB and got run out of the country by the Brits for it. The other half, my father's side, is potentially all German, but there's some suspicion that some of my direct ancestors may have migrated there from someplace in Scandinavia (Sweden to be precise) before emigrating to the States (sometime shortly after the American Revolution).

I'm mostly English, with some Irish on both sides, and a large part of my mother's ancestry unknown. More distantly, there is Scottish and Welsh, and further back there are alleged links to the continent, especially the Netherlands, France and Germany. I may also have a recent Scandinavian ancestor who, at this moment in time, is most likely to be Danish.
