So NASA finished the shuttle flights today when Atlantis STS-135 landed. 30 years ago I remember coming home early from school to watch the first shuttle launch- Columbia, 12th April 1981.

Is this the end of an era or possibly the beginning of a new one?

When will we see a manned flight to Mars?

Where now for space exploration and technology?
