Revolution in Bolivia???? Too bad there wasnt such revolt going on when Che was there...
Bolivian Pres. Sanchez de Lozada is a 70 year old, U$ Educated, multi-millionaire. He is a complete puppet of the US, taking natural gas and other resources from his people to sell them to the U$, and shutting down every Coca farm in Bolivia (Coca is a leaf that, while used in the making of cocaine, is very important to the indians of Bolivia)
Finally!! The people are standing up!!! Hopefully this is just the beginning. The people of the world have to stand up to all the puppets placed by the U$.
Hasta la victoria siempre! :che: :castro:

so far, nothing. the leader of the main leftist party in bolivia has said that hes standing with the president.
as usual, the bolivian communist party cant take the pressure and backs out. they did the same to che in bolivia, too afraid to send him help.

The Bolivian Communist Party is just hedging the fence, standing with the President unless the power shifts away, in which case it will be to late to shift loyalities and get any sort of real say. Hopefully many if not most the members of this organisation will remember they are radicals, and decide to do the right thing.
Just because the "Party" says something, does not mean you have to do it. I've been doing just about the opposite what CPUSA has wanted me to do for a long time!

We're currently doing a lot of work in Latin America, and we were there for the Argentinian uprising, Venuezuelan uprising, and now for the Bolivian uprising.
On the situation we have the following articles and protest letters
http://www.marxist.com/appeals/bolivia_appeal.html
http://www.marxist.com/Latinam/bolivia_rev...read171003.html (http://www.marxist.com/Latinam/bolivia_rev_widespread171003.html)
also this article from our Spanish comrades in Spanish
http://venezuela.elmilitante.org/index.asp...estra&id_art=69 (http://venezuela.elmilitante.org/index.asp?id=muestra&id_art=69)
id urge everyone to send their solidarity messages, and if your in the Labour Party get your constuency party to get a resolution to send one off
All these uprisings were predicted in our Marxist Golbal Perspectives of 2002, and now have come true, and if one reads more into the perspectives, you can see where else this sort of uprising and unrest will occur.

Chavez's mate Evo Morales is basically come out as the leader of the opposition and the movement, he is from the MAS (movement towards socialism), he's a good guy, he is an indian peasant,
If the Vice-president (now president-elect) doesn't live up to his promises Morales and the people have vowed to protest and bring an election, which Morales will hopefully win.
