I'm watching a movie called "The Baader Meinhoff Complex" and I just heard a damn fine argument point for people to use if they're arguing about the vietnam war with someone for whatever reason.
Point 1: America had a right to defend itself by initiating a preventative war against Vietnam.
Counterpoint: By that logic Hitler had a right to attack Poland.
So much win. In this thread, awesome or useful counter points that are short, sweet and to the point to be used in common arguments. This should probably be somewhere other chit-chat (maybe I dunno) but I wasn't sure where a good place would be, so I figured if nothing else, it can't get moved to chit-chat.
