(first of all i couldn't really find a fitting board, but i hope this is close enough)

I recently got this painting as a gift from a family member, and i've been searching around on the internet for quite some time to find any information about the tower in the picture. Unfortunately i don't know as much about the History and life of Che, but i figured someone here knows quite a lot about it.

EDIT:
Appereantly i cant post links before 25 posts, is there any other way i could show the painting ?

The Painting is called "The tower" by Nigel Thomas.

any information would be appreciated, thank you.

Well, describe the tower, please

I cannot find anything on Google, though my money is on the Taitlin Tower.

Looks like this? http://yuriyoshiokaisd.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/tatlin_tower.jpg

The tower is solid black and is formed like a traditional tower chess piece.

It's a solid black color and looks exactly like a black chess piece (standard look form a google search)

I'm thinking about what is symbolises.
