Hello everyone!
Not a huge fan of talking about myself so I will keep this brief. I have a bachelor of arts degree with a double major in Political Science and English and am currently applying for graduate school for political science. I am also keeping my future open for a potential law degree.
I first became interested in communist theory after taking an introductory philosophy course (a field which in which I ultimately ended up minoring) and reading The Communist Manifesto, Alienated Labor, and Critique of the Gotha Program. I was immediately struck by the rich complexities of a school of thought that I, up until that point, had been all too unaware of (save for the unsavory introduction to Marx I was given in high school). Nevertheless, I must say that, while the work in itself was altogether enlightening, combined with the amazing manner in which the material was presented and interpreted by my professor, the course became life-altering. I have since found out that the professor who taught this course is involved in more right wing politics, but I am forever indebted to him and the intellectually honest and critically engaging manner in which he presented Karl Marx.
Well, that's enough about me!
