The google translator is whack.

Apparently, from what I gather, the Greek government is arresting anyone with over five thousand Euros in debt?

Is this akin to debtor's prison?

Anyone have an article about this in English?

Yeah, thats the main idea. The same time when they get you fired, they cut down your wage, they put higher taxes, they say that if you dont have money to pay, you gonna get jailed. By the way, the institution that owes the biggest amount of money in the market, is the same greek state.

Another nice law passed 2 days ago, according to which, if you have 2 dogs at your appartment, you pay 1000 euros. The other day, an anarchist was jailed during a riot, with 70.000 euros bail money.

At the same time, not even a single politician that took money by the Siemens scandal, or any other from the dozens of scandals that are coming up every now and then for decades is being not even investigated.

So...Yeah!:thumbup1:

Jesus fuckin christ with this country... I really hope the fuckin elections that will come up probably in September will give the PASOK-ND-LAOS coalition the dick.
