Ok, I'm scrolling through revleft, and I see "Agent Duckie" as the first page in Chit-Chat. That's not creeping. That's just looking at revleft.

I go to hipster places because they usually have the best people. Some of them are irritating but where I am, its a choice between them and douche bag scene kid types that make me wanna be a suicide bomber.

Honestly, my only problem with hipsters is they are gentrifiers. im talking about the rich trust fund babies not the broke ass hipsters.
go to the mission district 11:00 AM on any day of the week, then do to the same spot at 10-11:00 PM and you will see a change from almost wholly latino to a bunch of white trendy kids. Apparently, this whole hipster invasion of the mission district has caused rent along mission street to double and sometimes triple and it drives out latino and arab businesses and in place of them comes hip cafes and artsy fartsy bars.

Hipsters? Scene kids? I rarely if ever see them, I usually only frequent places that have a bunch of Tusken immigrants, so I hardly if ever encounter these strange creatures.

I don't even know what one really is or a scene kid for that matter or what the fuck this "scene," is that said scene kid is apart of.
Does it mean just some posh pseudo-intellectual, pseudo-activist tool? I genuinely have no idea.

Neither does anyone else, the term is so ambiguous almost anyone could be labeled a hipster.

That's been going on before people were called hipsters (in the modern context, not old jazz hipsters). Middle class trendies have turned some depraved areas of London like some parts of Hackney into really well-to-do areas with incredibly high house prices. In the meantime, you turn the corner and hit a housing estate with some of the poorest people in the city living in it.
Its a class thing, labels are meaningless

absolutely.
but, the modern hipster is also representative of a certain class and class interest.

I don't think so. Some people have called me a hipster, but I'm poor as fuck and that isn't a choice, it is the reality of my place in these social and economic conditions.
I dress well and listen to awesome music etc, but I'm from a working class background. Hipster is a loose term and I'd say it transends across the class system. Just like you get upper class kids trying to be gangsta and the like, class character is not determined by clothing, music, art interests or the like I wouldn't say.
