Now that college is over i finally have time to educate myself and prepare for my future, without having to worry about sleep patterns and shitty art coursework that i dont even understand cuz they never explained the grading criteria clearly etc

i just spent 12 hours reading Lacans seminar on the psychoses, eating only coffee and a rice cake. This is so awesome, I am just gonna study as much as i can + eat sleep and sign on when necessary.

I will never forgive my parents for insisting that i try and pursue a college education, what a fucking waste of life that was

The thing about wage slavery its a damned if you do, damned if you dont situation. People like me need who arent under their parents roof but got to pay rent need the cash flow to keep the landlord at bay. The trade off is you dont have the time to spend on self embetterment so the status quo is sustained and you cant get out of your rut. There are no meaningful choices or ways out, thats why its wage 'slavery'.

Guess what, my cousin offered me a job testing video games and a place to stay at. My mom thought I was going to college, but I'm going to play video games all day for work, then go home, buy shit I need to live, pay rent, buy consumerist goods, and just read and play more video games. And to think I was literally 3 days from starting to apply for shitty jobs at McDonald's, Taco Bell, Walmart, the golf course, etc. I don't know I might get involved in the struggle but what's the point when my setup is so awesome? I might go to college when I'm not working but what's the point when you're freaking wages comes from testing video games?

But seriously get off your ass and at least do something productive for the "movement" if you're not going to get a job. You live with your parents? I actually got a job I liked (in the vein of my major in a liberal arts subject) by volunteering at the place for about three months beforehand. Of course, I took way too many amphetamines in order to prove my worth and don't really have any desire to do that again, but it was overall a decent experience, even if it paid barely over minimum wage. ($9/hour, Oregon's minimum wage is around $8.50) I was the only person there without a Master's degree, which can be credited entirely to 50mg Vyvanses, 5-Hour Energy Extras and a shit ton of coffee. My jaw aches just thinking about the bruxism. Fuck, I hope this post is relevant to the topic.

So I can

A. Get money to get a car.
B. Use car to actually go places and see my college friends who live 3 hours away.
C. Use car to make more money,(delivery driver, work nights/on shorter notice) to get out of this rural area.
D. Save money to move out of my parent's house. And go get a PHD.
E. Save money to travel (which I've never done, I've literally never been anywhere).


None of which can be accomplished sitting in my room. And yea, being unemployed/a temp worker like myself really REALLY gets old after..............wow it's been 14 god damned months now. It sucks. Trust me.

Guess when I work next? The 30th of July. That's 2 weeks between 8 hour shifts. $80 a month. Don't spend it all in one place.
