What is your opinion on it comrades?
Does't the U.S. violate the right to life with the death penalty? How do they get away with it?

Declaration of Human Rights rights my ass! the U.N. has passed laws demanding it's members outlaw drugs, showing the U.N. has no problem shoving it's agenda down countries throats rather they like it or not, but when it comes to stuff like ending the executions of gays and lesbians, ensuring women are more then property of their husbands, and ensuring free elections in pro-western dictatorships the U.N.'s response is "we must respect the sovernty of nations."

The USA violates nearly ALL of the Articles!
Are we actually a member of the UN?
I looked and looked, but these doesn't appear to be a clause excluding any member countries from any of it.
Am I missing something?
Perhaps the USA belongs to a similarly-named organization like "You-Knighted Nay-shuns" or uNITED nATIONS instead of the actual United Nations. That could explain why none of the UN's rules apply to the USA.

You silly people, don't you know that the UN only holds those laws against countries that have oil and are filled with brown people?

The UN is a useless organization.
Not really.
The leaders of the Bourgeoisie of each country can avoid conflict much easier with the UN.

The declaration is a good start. Too bad it's not practiced.

I would agree that it is a good start but at the same time we must point out that the bourgeoisie is hypocritical in carrying it out to the letter and the spirit. Therefore this task is upon the workers movement to claim the declaration as its own and work towards enforcing it, thus being a good platform for all kinds of international solidarity movements.
