Hello all
I watched many Soviet Union programs is kind of harsh propaganda against western capitalism and of course all nasty news from USA.
Even International panorama (it was news around the world) telling USA capitalist farmers seeking to cut cost, feeding cows with newspapers, ( I wonder is that truth statement).
Another factor which I found just curious about Italy Trotsky black fascist movement which I could not found any information but seems news told to us.
I would not happy to say all Soviet TV was as harsh propaganda most of telling the truth and reality lives of poor and unemployment. It was often reports about Black people's rights, many stories from Africa, Palestinian issues.
Special interest on one documentary which I could not find in English but made by Ofra Bikel
"The Russians are Here" it was good story about Soviet defectors who left Soviet Union and made life in USA. If someone so this documentary I am sure found very interesting about Russian peoples views such contradiction life from socialist state to capitalist state.
The is if somebody can understand Russian can watch this documentary.

Anyway all news reporting in the world is generally propaganda to some extent so it is hardly unique that news reports in the Soviet Union would be angled against the west or such.

i've watched some soviet cartoons and they are very interesting to watch. some make no sense at all (think "Cat and Parasite" from that episode of the Simpson where the Gabo show gets Krusty canceled), while others are very moving and artistic.
