My mystery meal aka lentil disaster

So i was hungry and i took a it of what was laying aroundd the house and threw it in a pot to boil, my ingredients were lentils peas onions chicken soup powder thyme pepper.

I just realised that lentils apparently take hours to cook, but im hungry and its late suggestions?

Can you let that simmer/slow cook to eat tomorrow and maybe just make something else like a sandwich? (So you don't waste the lentils.)

I dunno what laws of physics apply in your kitchen, but in mine lentils only take 10-30 minutes start to finish depending on how old they are and what kind you have. They're the fastest cooking legume on the planet.

i duno i let them cook for a long while and now they are absolutely delicious tho, i tried them after i had cooked them for an hour tho an they were still a bit hard, apparently adding salt fucks it up.

Naw, lentils are lentils everywhere... I have had them take up to 45 minutes, but that's after they were sitting in my cabinet for two forevers.
