I've read The Men Who Stare at Goats and Them. They were both great. While not leftist, they certainly exposed some ridiculous and disturbing aspects of the world. Anybody else like him/read him?

Well, he is a liberal, and his actions are sometimes disagreeable, but he's a good reporter IMHO. Each to their own I guess.
