Been tryin to find local active group in this part of norteast tennesee so far to no avail, and I've been here 3years. Are their any true comrades out there? About ready to move from this conservative right wing fascist state, truthfully. Any like minded souls I'd loved to here from you. So much needs to be done to fight this system, looking to organize lower income , workers, people stuck on welfare, I have a terminal illness and somethin needs to b done to help the powerless take control of our, their lives, we all need to stand up to this fascism!

Hey. I'm not from Tennessee myself, but I think there are some comrades here that are. I really like your fighting spirit and am glad you decided to join us.

I recently discovered revleft about a month ago and I'm thrilled to be in contact with other like minded leftists. As I've said before, east tenessee is unfortunatly xtremely conservative and I feel the loner in this area. Been here about 3years and haven't met any true leftists. Would move in a heartbeat but unfortunately, forced to live in this capitalist country I do not have any resources to up and go at the moment. Are there any active leftwing organizations in this area?
Something wrong here. Wanting to organize low income people, it is really heartbreaking around here .

You're not alone..I'm here, just north of Nashville and it sucks. I was about to quit my job and leave in '08 but then everything (economy) hit the fan so I stayed for the job. Personally, I'm trying to make off for Canada because I'm fed up with this Capitalist crap...then you have the all these ill-educated being exploited by the RW..ARGH!

I haven't found any LW'ers and I'm sure if there were, they'd be underground. I'd like to start a local chapter of like-minded folk. Keep me on your contact list - let me know if you find anyone and I'll do the same.

There's a new Socialist Party local in the Chattanooga area; it may not be close to Johnson City, but you might want to check them out.
