So I have been taking xanax. I've an addictive personality and so ive been taking a shitton more than I should and drinking with it. Can this cause extreme paranoia? I sent a bunch of people texts asking to score. I didn't get any responses til a few hours later when I got all of their responses at once. Im afraid my shits being intercepted. I'm fucking losing it.

Xanax

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Xanax:

Changes in appetite; changes in sexual desire; constipation; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; increased saliva production; lightheadedness; tiredness; trouble concentrating; unsteadiness; weight changes.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Xanax:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); confusion; decreased urination; fainting; hallucinations; loss of coordination; memory problems; menstrual changes; muscle twitching; new or worsening mental or mood problems (eg, depression, irritability, anxiety); overstimulation; red, swollen blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; severe dizziness; severe or persistent trouble sleeping; suicidal thoughts or actions; trouble speaking (eg, stammering, stuttering); yellowing of the eyes or skin.

Can I Combine Xanax and Alcohol?

Both Xanax (http://anxiety.emedtv.com/xanax/xanax.html)® (alprazolam (http://mental-health.emedtv.com/alprazolam/alprazolam.html)) and alcohol are central nervous system depressants (also known as CNS depressants), which means they can both slow the activity of the brain. Drinking alcohol while you are taking Xanax may increase your risk of serious reactions. It is not recommended that you drink alcohol while on Xanax. Additionally, many people with mental illness are recommended to avoid alcohol.

You may also be more sensitive to the effects of alcohol if you are taking Xanax. You may not be able to safely drink as much alcohol as you are used to drinking in the past.

Xanax and Alcohol Side Effects

Drinking alcohol while taking Xanax may increase your risk of certain Xanax side effects (http://anxiety.emedtv.com/xanax/xanax-side-effects.html), such as:

Drowsiness
Dizziness
Problems with coordination
Unusual behavior
Memory problems.

It may also slow both the heart rate and breathing, which can cause you to pass out or have difficulty breathing -- and may even lead to death.

Xanax is approved to treat anxiety (http://anxiety.emedtv.com/anxiety/anxiety.html) and panic disorder (http://anxiety.emedtv.com/panic-disorder/panic-disorder.html). Generally, it is best for people with mental illnesses (such as anxiety) to avoid drinking alcohol. Alcohol may worsen mental illness and is often a form of "self-medication." Additionally, people with an alcohol abuse problem may be more likely to abuse Xanax.

then again, name one drug that doesnt cause paranoia if taken in big numbers.

anyway, i would advice you to stay of the drugs (and your phone) for the coming hours.
try to relaxe, maybe get an sober trusted friend over to keep an eye on you and help you chill, shit will wear off in an few hours.

You should limit how much you take. Other than that, it's really unlikely the government would intercept your texts considering you are just a user.

Well from someone who's not on any drugs at the moment, I can tell you that it's highly unlikely that the FBI is concerned with your recreational drug use and abuse. So just let that go and think about the important thing - how your drug use is affecting you and your friends and family.

As of the moment, it looks like you're unhappy with how you act when your drinking and taking xanax. You might consider laying off the stuff for a while and attempting to sort yourself out. Remember that paranoia can happen, and if you've already got anxiety, then your drinking, then your taking your meds, you're compounding the factors at play. If you don't want to be paranoid, you'd be best off limiting the factors (such as lay off drinking for a while, or xanax, or whatever you think is best).

Either way, you'll be fine. Just don't go texting your friends for some footsie when you're all fucked up, it's annoying.

i have put people in my phone block for pulling that shit
