Was Bill Clinton a bad leader and President what are the reasons why besides his affair it just seems that the Democrats think Clinton was and is a great person ?

Clinton was the last nail in the coffin of the idea of democrats being progressive. Clinton continued Reagens economic policy and continued the neocon policy. Some Democrats, even progressives, like him just because he had a D in front of his name and the economic bubble had'nt burst yet.

Maintained these throughout his whole two terms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_sanctions

Ended this in his second term. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aid_to_Families_with_Dependent_Children

That's all you need to know.

He also slashed the capital gains tax and reduced the estates tax (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxpayer_Relief_Act_of_1997) in 1997. (And don't forget that over 80% of congressional Democrats voted for that bill!)

Don't take it as offense, but your question is silly.
He is like any other USA president, working for big corporations, using military power to get Imperialist goals. He has proven that in many cases. Its not important, and history has shown us, who is in charge in USA, democrat or republican, all of them serve their masters or their agenda.

Timor, Bombing of SFRYugoslavia (humanitarian bombings, sounds familiar eh ?) and many more...
I'll read link later...

Yes he is War Criminal if we apply same laws which are applied in other third world countries, he would be convicted....
Someone once said, but can't remember who and where, i'll just paraphase it:
‎"...If the same laws were applied to U.S. presidents as were applied to the Nazis after World War II [...] every single one of them, every last rich white one of them from Truman on, would have been hung to death and shot—and this current administration is no exception. They should be hung, and tried, and shot. As any war criminal should be..."

I'm sure someone will come and defend his "actions"...I'm sure of it...

(CAN I BE UNRESTRICRED? OR AT LEAST PMED WHY I CAN'T BE?!)

I am not a huge fan of Clinton, but I will never understand why he was basically 'sacked' for lying about an affair (if you can call it that) whilst dubya lied about the reasons for going to war and effectively killing millions of people and he's given another term by an adoring public.

Its not a bad question, some presidents have been better than others for working people (mainly because they were more responsive to public pressure).

Clinton oversaw more US interventions than Bush (though obviously non were quite as big of an operation, but that has more to do with the "opportunity" as Condi Rice called it of 9/11 happening). He sold his wars as "humanitarian interventions" most of the time and his Presidency oversaw the re-branding of the US military (as a force for progress rather than a cold-war necessity as before) after the anti-military sentiment of Vietnam.

His Presidency signaled the domanence of the New Democrats over the "Great Society" Democrats of the 1960s and 1970s. Basically the guns and austerity neoliberals over the guns and butter Keynesians inside the Democratic party. His Presidency also showed that the Democrats were willing to take union money and call them on their bluffs by then enacting anti-union/pro-business policies.

He "ended welfare as we know it". He pushed the mainstream politics of the US to the right with his "triangulation" strategy which accepted and mainstreamed right-wing arguments about race problems in the US, affirmative action, welfare, tax cuts, the deficit etc.

I support him having sex in the oval office though - probably the best thing he could have done at work was something other than governing.

Great description of the old democrat progressives and the new democrat corporatists I've heard. Guns and austerity vrs guns and butter.

The guy bombed and starved countless countries (Sudan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yugoslavia, the list goes on). He cut and slashed social safety nets, something a hardcore conservative could only dream of. He pushed through NAFTA as well.

So appropriate:
