Comrades,
Over the last number of weeks I have noticed that the state of Israel have set up a youtube account. Their videos are a clear attempt at pacifying the average person, making them ignorant towards the current situation in Palestine, particularly the blockade of Gaza. I have also noticed that this channel is heavily promoted as a ''featured video'' on videos of a republican, socialist or alternative political genre. This is obviously an attempt to anger people further to spark a ''youtube bannable'' reaction. Youtube these days, like most other major world websites, is a site that goes some distance to silence/censor anybody with an alternative political opinion. So we need to show them that we wont be silenced and that we wont tolerate blatant propaganda on an international website, from any world nation. The question is
how can we show this.
The only thing I can think of is mass messages of contempt, directed toward the videos on the Israeli youtube channel&videos and a mass ''abuse reporting'' on their videos. Websites such as this are the perfect place to coordinate such peaceful resistance as we are all like minded to some extent and are connected to other people that are also willing and able to contribute to the campaign. So I would ask you all to offer up your opinions and also help in such a show of peaceful resistance, should it get of the ground. It may seem very trivial but it is symbolic, if we could impact on this channel it would show that Israeli zionism and imperialism are not invincible.
