What do you think of ETA? I mean the Basque organization that is labeled as Marxist-Leninist and nationalist. Is it any good?

'What do you think of ETA?'
Has the right to continue resisting the Spanish State and found an independent Basque Republic based upon the need for Self-Determination of the Basque People and is overall a Left-Nationalist representative of the Basque Country.

They're kind of small, not very useful, and they haven't accomplished much. I don't think that the dream for an independent Basque republic is very feasible at this point.

From what I can gather is that ETA did a pretty good job os alienating itself from a meaningful social base. I believe they pulled one or two terrorist attacks which were major eff ups

It's unfortunate. The ETA has pretty much destroyed any hope of sovereignty of the Basque country in this generation by escalating straight to terrorism. As Blake said, it has alienated itself from a good number of people, both Basques and non-Basques, and, because right now it's seen as the face of the entire movement, it has alienated the movement as well. Too bad, because it's a worthy cause.
