I was in the bookstore yesterday and I saw Al Franken's new book. Not being one to judge a book by its cover I picked it up and began reading chapter one. To start the book, Franken quotes Ann Coulter as saying the New York Times waited TWO days to publish a story on NASCAR legend Dale Ernhardt's untimely death. With the help of 14 Harvard researchers, Franken was able to photocopy the New York Times showing that the Times had waited only ONE day to publish a story on Mr. Ernhardt's death.
My question to anyone who has read "Lies, And The Lying Liars Who Tell Them" is does this book get any better as it goes? Does the book just get off to a slow start?
