Anonymous Launches HackerLeaks of the Day: According to Forbes (http://blogs.forbes.com/andygreenberg/2011/06/30/anonymous-launches-a-wikileaks-for-hackers-hackerleaks/), two new leaking sites, LocalLeaks.tk (http://localleaks.tk/) and HackerLeaks.tk (http://hackerleaks.tk/), have been launched by members of Anonymous and a sub-group called the Peoples Liberation Front (http://plf.eu.pn/campaignsArchive1.html).
From Forbes:
Both hope to receive documents through an anonymous submissions channel, analyze them, and then distribute them to the press to get maximum exposure and political impact.
But while LocalLeaks aims to use WikiLeaks model of insider sources to expose corruption on the local scale, HackerLeaks openly invites data thieves to upload documents through its submission system, so that they can be analyzed and publicized. You download it, well disclose it for you, the sites homepage reads, listing potential booty such as databases, exploits, security flaws, documents, and email spools.
So far, a list of personal information on Orlando officials has been submitted to HackerLeaks and posted on LocalLeaks, just as Anonymous has been carrying out Operation Orlando (http://geeks.thedailywh.at/tag/orlando/).
