Every month my family is at risk of not having enough money for rent which means getting booted out. Now, this month, it looks like its going to really fucking happen.

I know how you feel, mate. My parents spent a decade of their lives scraping together every nickle and dime to buy a home so they didn't have to rent only for it to be foreclosed on a couple of years ago...

Not much I can say really mate except I know what you're going through. Stay strong, give your parents emotional support and if the worst comes to the worst maybe try to crash at a mates for a while to take a bit of the burden of your parents especially if you've got younger siblings.

Really sorry to hear that. I'm in the same position fairly regularly. Thought I was going to be out for sure last month, but luckily made it through. Is there any chance of things improving for you folks soon?

I think you live in San Fransisco (Friscoooooo). Here in Florida, it's a process to evict renters. From working with others that have been in your situation, evicting someone is a pain in the ass for the landlord. You have about 45 days after the legal process begins. The landlord would need to get the court involved which takes a while. Then, the police come to your place and forces you to leave. But, you may be able to work something out with the landlord before the cops show up.
Here's some info on eviction in Frisco: http://www.sftu.org/eviction.html
It seems like you have more time there (in Frisco) than here (Flahrida).
Before that, hit up the local charities. There are usually many charities that will cover a month's rent or utilities if you can prove a steady income. Here is a list of agencies that may help you: http://www.hrcsf.org/SubHousing/rentasst.html
Regardless, I can imagine that you are upset with the system or society. Right now, unless you're going to form the revolution or join revolutionary forces, you should put that aside an worry about how you're going to get your individual situation fixed. Work on getting your shit taken care of.
If you need any help, I am glad to offer any assistance I can. Let me know how it turns out. Keep me updated. :thumbup1:

OP is actually in Sacremento, but the info linked above should be useful. It is a process to evict people and can take a while especially if you play your cards right. Then again it may be more useful to have the security deposit, rather than a couple extra months in the house.

Know what you mean mate, ever since the family tin box was foreclosed on, we've been in that exact situation.

My heart goes out to you comrade, its things like this that make me realize that I take a lot of things for granted, stay strong man. I'd take Mass Pole Tirade's advice about crashing at a mate's house. Situations like yours proves to me that this glorious Capitalist system provides for us all.:(
