haha I had that a few weeks ago on my birthday. Someone asked how old I was I said approaching 30 way too fast, they laughed and called me a youngster.

Yup, very old....I would start planning for your retirement and funeral, wouldn't want your family to be left with all those expensive bills racked up in your late age.

I'm 35. It's half way to 70.

15 years ago I was but 20.

In 15 years I'll be 50 :(

This happens to me occasionally. Highly irritating if you left the ID at the house and got to the liquor store on foot.

But 20 is old, you should look into retirement homes.

I felt the same last year, but 20 isn't all that bad.

Angry Young Man

20 really should be a more important bday than it is. Stop people feeling down about leaving their teens.

But you have three more years of the first flush of youth and you're a good-looking boy. I imagine.

Like seriously guys. Two fucking decades.

If you are old, then i am positively a fossil. I have vivid memories of the pre-perestroika era.

I guarantee you'll be feeling three times as shit in ten years.

Now shut up.

I remember when being asked for my ID to buy beer went from being annoying to somewhat flattering.

It's just such a shame being 18-21 only lasts 3 years :crying:

Well, when I made this thread I had two goals, alert people that it was my birthday and anger people over twenty. Judging by this thread, I succeed in both endeavors.

Yeah, I always get ID'd. I think one of the few times I haven't been ID'd was my 18th birthday, which was the only time I actually wanted to show ID.

I'm nineteen. I must say it's annoying being in this few-year gap, at least here in the good ol' USA. It's like "Congrats, you can now buy porn and tobacco but you cannot buy alcohol or gamble." THESE THINGS ARE TOTALLY UNRELATED WHY ARE THEY GROUPED TOGETHER SO.

I was at a concert the other day and I met some college-age kids there. When I told them I was a sophomore, they said: "In college?" They tripped balls when I told them I was in high school.

Be lucky you're still 20 at 20. I'm 20 at 15. :glare:

Turned 20 in may, it's not that bad unless you decide to go hardcore prole and have no life so you can save to live in a stilt house in the next year.

I can't make a fist anymore guys, what is this adult shit.

i knew i had an baby face, but seriously..Precisely the same thing happened to me recently -- and I'm not almost 30, but 30, period.

It felt so good, I was walking on clouds for the rest of the day. :)

I look forward to turning 21 so I can buy liquor directly and actually like, look around at the different kinds and shit, instead of just saying go get the biggest bottle of whiskey you can get with X dollars to whoever's buying it for me. The only age I don't look forward to is 63. It's just a weird number.

You can be a student at any age, but do vaguely remember Sammy saying he was in his early twenties in one thread. (23 perhaps it was?)

I'm often told I'm a 35 year old in a 16 year old body. My elders say I have an "old soul".
