Im from the midlands of Britain and behind all the teacakes and scones there isnt much of a leftist scene. In fact ive only been left for a year or so. Then i saw capitalism for what it really was and turned

What i find really terrible is how people in the west are being brought up: as a child your taught to share and by kind, but the very idea of western capitalism is about competition and selfishness

Welcome comrade. Glad you've evolved toward being more human. I'm a Marxist who is a bit reluctant to subscribe too heavily into one tendency or another. I know that capitalism has long outlived it's usefullness. I'm a fan of Lenin, Castro, and Che. I know that no socialist revolution has yet led to a workers' paradise but we'll keep trying until we get it right. Enjoy the sight. I've learned quite a bit here. Mostly, it's just nice to not be the only commie in the room. I'm from rural Pennsylvania so....
