What are the thoughts here on the situation going on at the IKEA plant in Danville, Virginia? Considering the workers in the IKEA plants in Sweden make a minimum of $19 and hour compared to the IKEA workers in Danville making roughly $8 an hour, there have been reports by African American workers of racial discrimination, there are twelve vacation days a year eight of which are decided by the bosses, weekend shifts are often announced last minute, and many other issues. What are your thoughts on IKEA, the actions of IKEA, and the situation as a whole?

In case you didn't know about this, the PWW has had some good articles following the story, Liberation News has just published an article, and there is a good article by the LA Times. Sorry for no links to the articles but I'm not able to post links yet.Capitalism as its finest: low wages, racism, bosses to you when you can work or go on vacation.
