View Full Version : Political Statement with Legos

This is what happens when I'm bored.....

Ok, so my mom took my family to the mall so she could go shoe shopping. Which is really boring. So I ran off to the lego store and I decided to make a political statement with the random legos they had around.

I made a bunch of lego workers that all have sad faces and the same uniforms doing construction work.... And a cappie in a top hat with a menacing mustache. With a gun pointed at the prole who dropped her hat.

And then next to it I spelled "Capitalism" with bricks (they didn't have very good bricks for this purpose)

Yeah. I'm in a pretty conservative region. I wonder if anyone actually understood it. Lol. Random thread. Sorry about crappy picture quality. lol.

I would criticize this that it doesn't really represent modern capitalism. The bourgeois is wearing a top hat, plus the organic composition of capital is quite high.

I say it seems like it was a pretty eventful day at the shopping mall this was indeed.

Shoes, class struggle, I love the mall.

Do you think you girls could stop giggling long enough to explain to me what this "Golden Che award," business is?

I'm not sure either.

I think Lego Che would suffice though.

Looks like what? The picture isn't working.

And yes. I think whoever had the idea of putting the hand on the rifle to make it look automatic is genius. I hope it was a cappie's hand.

Simply mentioning the "Golden Che" is pushing the limit tbh. it must not be spoken of.

That is simply awesome. I once found a Lego man who looked outrageously prole, so I went around proclaiming him Communist Lego man. The next time I went back, he was gone, so I set up a mini scene with several badass-looking guys in black towering over bourgie-looking guys who had been thrown to the ground (near the guys in back, I placed a few workers to be their comrades). I mentioned that it was anarchists defeating the bourgeoisie, but nobody really paid attention to me.

you do know these are just Legos, right? Also, someone must get on making a Pyramid of Capitalism in full and with Legos. That would be so bad.

That's what I was thinking of before. I want to make the pyramid of capitalism with legos. I need to gather resources. THIS MUST HAPPEN. This will be my project for this section of the summer. XDD

Aren't there Lego building competitions? I think it would be awesome and even more subversive if you managed to complete your Pyramid of Capitalism and actually entered it in one of those... Oh, and the photo in the OP is indeed the shizzie.

What's dumb about Badgers?

Agent Ducky

Badgers themselves are really badass. But repetitive flash videos that involve mushrooms and snakes aren't exactly brimming with intellectual quality. ;P

British forces have denied rumours that they released a plague of ferocious badgers into the Iraqi city of Basra

UK military spokesman Major Mike Shearer said: "We can categorically state that we have not released man-eating badgers into the area."This thread is now about badgers.
