Yep you read that right ..after being accused of being Stalinists and Nazis they are now a model for Cameron's "Big Society"

I already commented on the BBC thread saying how the smurfs are fascist. ive no doubt explained it on revleft before as well (theres an essay somewhere in my blog if youre interested). It is certainly telling that they are starting to refer to the smurfs as an ideal society, even if its jokingly, because the whole point of my essay is that smurf village functions EXACTLY as the fascist ideal society functions in fascism (partiarchal petty bourgeois society of national purity with no class contradictions, all the problems being caused by the evil jew)
so while the article may be light hearted it is a sign of a worrying ideological trend
