Newly released G8/G20 summit documents reveal the RCMP and various Ontario police forces spent several months infiltrating anti-war, anti-globalization and anarchist groups with the use of undercover officers ahead of last June's summits in Huntsville and Toronto.

It's so suprising that Canadian police would do something like that! Oh wait, no I'm not (http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/2007/08/23/police-montebello.html).

the theoretical sophistication of most smashy smashy types amounts to shouting a few slogans thattr sound like bad highschool poetry and using buzzwords like neoliberalism. makes really easy for cop infiltration imho

Yeah. Anyone who can talk about social war and negating one's own negation can join in. ;)

No big surprise but standard operating procedure, from many eyewitness there at the g20 summit, it is said that a group of black clad anarchist (black block) proceeded to destroy store fronts and burn two police cars conveniently parked there, under the watchful eyes of police, while journalists were filming away. Only after the thugs had completed their work and disappeared into the crowd did police charge the peaceful demonstrators...

In Montebello at the Security and Prosperity Partnership summit it is Union leaders that prevented violence from escalating between police and police pretending to be anarchists, police were caught red handed and even the prime minister had to apologize, without giving any credible explanation for the incident.

You have seen the same type of actions by provocateurs in recent events in Egypt France Greece Spain... but we are to believe that level of sophistication local police force have in using violence to justify a clampdown, has not reached the US security apparatus and terrorism and disinformation could not possibly be used by the CIA or the DOD to justify Wars of aggression, just crazy conspiracy stuff.

Lol folks please note before it gets out of hand that this is absolutely NOT corroboration of conspiracy theories surrounding G20 where there is NO evidence that pigs initiated or enabled the riots. Cops have had people infiltrating activist groups lately outside the g20 as well and this is by no means suggestive of anything beyond the usual and ongoing subversion of the left by pigs.

What surprising is that they forgot to remove their police issued boots. I mean sure its not like having the full uniform and radio on, but its kind of like the police didn't really know how to deal with the situation.

I can say for a fact that I know of people who basically planned to engage in property destruction and probably did, people with relatively good politics which at very least they are not being paid by the state to promote.

I knew one of the police informants. She was a nice little British lady. I think I ate some cookies she brought to a demo once.

Apparently when she would actually go to meetings (I didn't really hang out with her so this is second or third hand), she would rarely talk, and when she did, mostly to concur with whatever everyone else was saying.

I heard though that there was a pig in Kitchener trying to get people to do stupid things, so they told him to fuck off, and so he did.

It's generally fairly obvious who's who. The police really don't understand the radical left, and can't easily just "talk the talk".
