I'm a leftist stay-at-home mom in Houston, TX. My attempts at conversation don't go over too well in the play groups here, as you might imagine, so I look to on-line conversation to stay sane.

Grew up a democrat, daughter of a union worker, but now that I've figured out capitalism is a scam I'm ready for a new economic system.

But more seriously, it would be interesting to know if there are any other mothers regularly posting or lurking this forum. It brings different perspective that are very much needed and I really hope you stick around.

(I used to describe revleft as populated by 12-14 year old former Hoxhaists (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoxhaism) turned anarchists or vice-versa, but that was only a cursory impression. I've revised it upwards to seventeen.)
