what do you like to listen to when stoned, in order to have a good/great/awesome/phenomenal trip?

i'd have to say Enigma ranks at the top. It is incredibly good, especially when under the influence.

Pink Floyd is also some crazy shit to listen to when wacked.

Radiohead, Peter Tosh and The Doors are other excellent alternatives.

Oh, and for some reasons listening to Quranic recitation really really works for me when under the influence (also when sober actually!).

I like "Al Qadr" (97) and "Al Takathur" (102) especially - and of course Al-Fatiha (1)

:)

He's like 92 I think, but yea, he hasn't been on recently because he had heart surgery or something like that.

Haven't been stoned in a while but I mostly listened to goth and industrial when I was. Stuff like NIN, Rammstein, Siouxsie & The Banshees, KMFDM, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, etc.

Check out some Coil... Probably not too easy at the music stores, but www.brainwashed.com/coil (http://www.brainwashed.com/coil) has some sound clips... Their third album Love's Secret Domain (LSD, duh) is pretty strange. Nurse With Wound (http://www.brainwashed.com/nww) is interesting, too - surrealist music at its best.

Steven Stapleton of NWW does some pretty cool CD Covers, too.

All Covers by Stapleton.. (though some are credited to babs santini)

Lately it's been emo and metalcore, but usually I try to make sure it's either Aphex Twin, Cypress Hill (what??) or The Dillinger Escape Plan.

Holy shite, Aphex Twin only makes sense when I'm stoned or drunk...Have you listened to the new album, Alan?

Most of my favorite songs to smoke to are songs that most other people I've known find too creepy to listen to while high.

Some examples...
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
The Doors - The End
RJD2 - The Horror
Aesop Rock - 11:35
Velvet Underground - Venus in Furs

Hmm...

I'd never heard of Enigma before reading this thread, but whoever from the group is in this picture has a beautiful, beautiful mullet.

I listen to the gaps between sounds....

I listen to the colour of the sky...
Watch for the sound of the humming birds wing..
Search the air for the perfume of ice on a hot summers day...
