1. What role do you believe volunteerism should play in bringing about a post-capitalist society / or living in one?

2. Should leftists devote their free time to volunteer work as a way to set an example that men & women can be motivated by more than material incentives?

3. Is volunteer work in a capitalist society actually counter-productive as it may take some of the heat (like a pressure valve) off the oligarchs and hoarders of capital? Thus, if the lowest class continues to receive charity from volunteers they may never rise up to overthrow their rulers.

4. Do you volunteer often, and what are some of the best ways you believe a Marxist/Communist/Leftist can volunteer to bring down or ease the hardships of capitalism?

Socialism will be a voluntary act, but volunteer work at the moment props up capitalism by doing the jobs that capitalism doesn't reward.
