This is a social democrat (or somebody posing as one) gaining a conscious in the hopes of getting more votes for the democrats (they are going to need them) and allowing a glimpse of the truth of how the system works.

This is socials theory applied to the middle class instead of towards the division of proletarians and capitalists. Its ultimately still an argument within the confines of capitalism and therefore not a solution. Within the confines of capitalism its true though and describes indeed how we are being fucked.

What is left out is the "lower class" who have it worse and worse. No word about them. Typical.

I don't know much about this professor, but I do know that real wages have been falling for the past 30 years as Marx predicted.
