It's nice to be here, after hearing a lot about this forum.
I'm a socialist from Stockholm, Sweden, and a member of the CWI (Committee for a Worker's International). The Swedish section is called Rättvisepartiet Socialisterna (The Socialist Justice Party).

Five years ago the right-wing alliance won the election after decades of a social democratic rule in Sweden. These last five years more has changed than in a very long time, and of course all to the worse. And after the last election in September 2010 a racist party has seats in the parliament as well, which has lead to a wave of racist political decisions. The number of deportations has increased extremely this year for instance.
We've seen the same things happen all over Europe as racist parties have been given a lot more power.

What we on the left-wing need to do is unite against the right-wing politics which go hand in hand with racism and fascism.
We do not need to fight each other while the capitalists can play their game. We need to unite and fight them!

Welcome! I'm looking forward to hearing lots more about left Swedish politics.

I would add that left needs to unite against right in ways that lead out of capitalism, including Swedish social democratic welfare capitalism.

Capitalism is killing us all.

Very true. Social democracy is still capitalism, these days, and the Social Democratic Party does belong to the bourgeoisie. In Sweden, and I've seen the same thing in many European countries, the social democracy is just a cheap copy of the right-wing parties' politics.

Thank you for welcoming me here! :)
