This is a youtube video from one of my favorite youtube atheists, DarkMatter2525. I like this video because it shows how hypocritical the Christians who piously and arrogantly preach their religion and try to force it on others in public. I also like it because it shows how ignorant the mass majority of the people are there of that faith.
I am not trying to single out a religion, I don't want to discriminate, this just happens to be a good example. There are people like this of all faiths. This is just one of my problems with religion in general. Almost all of the followers of the religion nowadays don't really know anything about their own religion. There are kids at my high school who actually carry their bible around the school and preach to kids why their religion is correct. They never open the damn thing of course, because they have never even read it. Allot of these people don't even know their own religion and many many of them have never read the bible. Some of them don't even know the ten commandments. I mean, I carry my copy of the Manifesto around with me, but the difference between me and them is that I don't preach mine, I keep it with me for two reasons, because since I am still in my learning stages, I like to be able to look things up in it I need to know and re-read it. And yes, I have read it and I have an understanding of what is inside it obviously.
The other reason I keep it on me is because the bigot conservatives at my school, many of whom fall into the same group as the ignorant theists, will literally destroy that Manifesto if I do not keep it on me at all times, I have had people try to tear it or defile it before. I could just keep it at home, but I enjoy re-reading parts I have am not clear on and a few of my teachers and I like to discuss or sometimes debate the contents. I know my beliefs well enough to debate anyone I come in contact with on a daily basis, other students, parents, teachers, the superintendent of my school, etc... (except of course you guys on Revleft, there are some users on here who could probably beat me at a debate even though we were on the same side, because we most likely would be, unlike the rest of my drooling counterparts at school.)
